Ed Wilson became a Director of Bay Productions www.bay-productions.co.uk in the autumn of 2019, joining the three Founder Directors; Peter Jones, Simon Cornish and Craig Tucker who started the business almost 10 years ago. Bay Productions have an extensive portfolio of existing premier league companies around the world including, ENO, ROH, NT, Camack, RUT, Disney, La Monnaie, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Washington National Opera to name but a few...The key Bay Productions has been creating world class scenery to the highest possible standards and a level of service and support to Production Managers, Designers and Technical Directors and Producers that have led many to come back time and time again.
Ed was previously General Manager of Cardiff Theatrical Services for 5 years and has a Production Management and Senior Management Team background for leading theatre and opera companies in the UK. Ed has spent two separate spells as a Production Manager at English National Opera and was Technical Director for the Theatre Royal Plymouth (2001-2004) where he oversaw the commissioning of their then new workshops TR2.
Ed was Production Manager for the Royal Court during the mid 1990's with PM credits on productions such as MOJO, The Weir (West End and Broadway), The Leananne Trilogy, The Chairs (West End and Broadway), and for Complicite The Street Of Crocodiles, The Master and Margarita (UK and European Tour). Ed was Production Manager of Billly Elliot (2011-2015) in the West End.
Ed is delighted to have joined Bay Productions as a Director and has already been involved in a number of exciting projects for companies such as La Monnaie, Washington National Opera and Blue Man Group and is excited about continuing to build and develop Bay Productions working with existing and new customers. business with the rest of the Bay team.
